Beautiful Birmingham

We received a belated Christmas present from God today--a beautiful spring day! It was gorgeous here and I could not wait to get home from church to take Par on a walk--nothing like some good natural vitamin D to do the body good! It was our first walk ever--very exciting--the first time to use the stroller and the first time for Tiffany to go on a walk since we've been home--so she was going crazy with excitement when we told her.

Feeding/eating is still going well...Par is still a mama's boy--although he was excited about the UNC game last night--and was there with his dad for the dramatic win.

We continue to pray for Par's friends. We still miss them, thankfully we are able to keep in touch via email and updated with each other's blogs. We continue to ask that our Lord give them peace and understanding for His timing.

Rusty has been working hard trying to finish up a job and I have just now figured out that I am tired--so I've been trying to take a few naps while Par is sleeping--I'm sure I'll catch up on my sleep in the next 18 years or so. Thank you for your prayers--and for the warm welcomes we get every time we run into friends here in Birmingham (the walk was full of them, thank you!!!! We loved it!)

May God continue to bless you as you pray for these precious children...

Love,
Liz, Rusty & Par

There is nothing like a walk, sunshine, a baby, and a furry one to lift your spirits and energize you when you are sleep deprived---at least for a bit. Glad the weather permitted that walk!
I remember well trying to sleep when Caryn slept so many years ago. It did help. You may want to expand that time frame up to after college and beyond. I remember a few sleepless nights as I waited up for them to come home.

Prayers & thoughts continue for Par and his friends.

Glad Par and his dad helped us pull out that win against Clemson last night!! Go Heels!

We sure are happy that Par is able to get out and get some wonderful fresh air and see the sights!!

We keep Ella and all the other sweet ones in our prayers each night. Thanks for keeping us up to date with them on occasion.
